couldn't never figure out how to love

Love is always a good thing no matter how much it hurts.

Even after it's over, even through the pain, anyone who

has ever really loved will tell you they never regretted a second of it,

no matter how much it hurt in the end.

And if you tell me differently, then you were never truly in love.

I think what ends up screwing us is having

the perfect picture idea of how we think things will be.

Or are you okay without me...

I don't say what I feel a lot because I try to

avoid fighting with you. But I realized

some of the shit I feel needs to be said. Whether

you get mad at me or not.

Look, we don't need to put a label on it.

I just need some consistency. I need to know

you're not going to wake up in the morning &

You don't want me, but you still want me to care.

I'm sorry darling but that's just not fair.

Ladies, the minute you stop chasing him

is the minute he starts chasing you.

You can't stop loving someone you shouldn't,

but you can't force yourself to love someone

you're better off with.

but sometimes the person you want most,

is the person you're best without.

When you love someone, you put their needs

before your own. No matter how inconceivable

those needs were; no matter how fucked up;

no matter how much it made you feel like

you were ripping yourself into pieces.

There are two basic motivating sources: fear & love.

When we are afraid, we pull back from life.

When we are in love, we open to all that life has to

offer with passion, excitement, & acceptance.

We need to learn to love ourselves first, in all our

glory and our imperfections. If we cannot

love ourselves, we cannot fully open to our ability

to love others or our potential to create.

Evolution and all hopes for a better world rest in the

fearlessness & open-hearted vision of people who embrace life.

Go ahead & leave me; this time I'm prepared.

To truly know what is good in life,

you must experience the bad as well.

When someone took up all your thoughts & feelings

for six and half months straight, it can take a while to get

used to the emptiness when they're gone. And that space

will never completely fill again, because there's no

other person who will fit with you the way they did.

They have that part of you, but you have a part of them too.

The people who make enough of an impression will stay with you.

You have the right to leave but at least tell them why.

Because what's more painful than being

abandoned is knowing you're not worth an explanation.

The 3 C's of life:

Choices, Chances, & Changes.

You must make a CHOICE to take

a CHANCE or your life will never CHANGE.

Every person will hurt you at least once in

your relationship & the ones that

really matter will try to get you back.

He can't treat me like shit & expect me

to be all sweet to him.

I need to know that it's possible that two people

can stay happy together.

When someone makes you the second option,

Say how you feel without blame

& with love, if they leave

it is in your bet interest.

It's the little things that make people hurt,

I'm never shocked when people let me down nowadays.

I just hate the fact that I put myself in a position

to be let down in the first place.

This is me letting go, it goes to show I hope

you know that I'm not mad. Cause after all,

everyone has to learn from their mistakes,

and you were just one of the many that I'll make.

In love, you should run but do not rush,

trust but do not judge, & feel but do not fall.

Because by you pushing me away,

you pushed me into somebody else.

Funny how the wrong person looks like the right one because of love.

To be trusted is a greater compliment than to be loved.

God answers in 3 ways:

He says yes & gives you what you want,

He says no & gives you something better,

or He says wait & gives you the best.

You know life is worth the struggle

when you look back on what you lost

& realize what you have now is so much better.

Technology ruins everything.

You can't let the little stuff & little people

take over or try to bring the hate out of you.

When you ignore people, you make them look foolish.

If he's dumb enough to walk away, be smart enough to let him go.

If you're not losing sleep over something you love

then you don't love it enough.

The thing that pains you the most

is also the thing that pushes you forward.

We don't pick who we fall in love with

& it never happens like it should.

Things have a way of working themselves out.

Enjoy the process. Stressing out is passe.

Stop caring about the guy who doesn't care about you.

If you let people walk all over you,

that's exactly what they're going to do.

Stand up for yourself.

I'd rather love someone I can't have than have someone I can't love.

Just because you miss certain people,

doesn't mean you're supposed to be with them.
